Milky Way Farm is a historic dairy farm in Chester Springs. It sits on more than 100 acres and has been family-owned and operated for 4 generations.

Open: Fri–Sun, 1–9pm
521 East Uwchlan Ave
Chester Springs, PA 19425

The Matthews family is passionate about growing, creating, and selling high quality farm fresh products and providing memorable educational agricultural experiences through our various programs.

They work in harmony with the land and animals, promote community engagement and support sustainability for future generations.

The Matthews family looks forward to welcoming you to Milky Way Farm and Chester Springs Creamery so you can experience the many ways we’re trying to preserve an American tradition.

“Making ice cream with distinction”

The fine folks at Chester Springs Creamery opened their business in 2001 as a natural extension of the Milky Way Farm dairy operation, which has been owned and operated by the family since 1902.

The ice cream you enjoy at the creamery is made with milk from their very own dairy cows. They have 48 flavors, each named for a cow in the herd!

Fall Fun at Milky Way Farm

Milky Way Farm hosts Pumpkin Harvest Season, a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and corn maze from Sept 24-Oct 30, 2017. On Pumpkin Harvest weekends, the farm is open from 10am-5pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Free hayrides run continuously to take visitors to the pumpkin patch. An easy walking path is also available for those who choose to stroll to the patch. Weekend visitors enjoy our young farm animals, corn maze, farm fresh ice cream and other products.

The farm is also open for pumpkin sales during weekdays in October from 3pm-5pm, but there are no hayrides on weekdays.

The farm grows about 8 acres of pumpkins, which yield about 25,000 pumpkins per year!

Visitors to the farm can purchase pumpkins  from the pumpkin patch often right off the vine or select them in the sales area.

The farm also offers other fall harvest products, like gourds, Indian corn, crook-neck pumpkin, squash, corn stalk bundles, miniature pumpkins and many fall decorative items!
