I don’t know about you, but once the weather starts to get warm, I cannot wait to get outside an enjoy it! One of my favorite ways to enjoy the warm weather is to visit some of the best restaurants in Chester County and have a drink and food in their outdoor dining rooms. There is just something about a cool breeze with a warm drink that shouts Spring to me.
I’ve compiled a Top 10 list of my favorite local spots to relax and enjoy outdoor dining in Chester County. Please be sure to let me know if I’ve left any of your favorites off my list.

Downingtown
Amani’s BYOB
Ask anyone who has had a meal at Amani’s and they will almost certainly volunteer the review of “one of the best meal’s I’ve had in a long time”. When it comes to outdoor dining in Chester County, Amani’s offers the perfect combination of work class cuisine, BYOB, central Downingtown location and a wonderful outdoor dining area. Voted best BYOB in Chester County, Amani’s is definitely on our must-try list!
Milito’s Restaurant
If you are looking for a side of nature with your meal, you can’t do much better in Chester County than Milito’s. With a spectacular, up-close view of the Brandywine, the outdoor dining space is comfortable and the food is great. A perfect way to enjoy a beautiful Chester County day!
Beaver Creek Tavern
Beaver Creek Tavern is a great combination of a friendly pub and a restaurant with great food and drink options. They also have take-out beer available. If you are looking for a “hometown pub” environment, Beaver Creek will be a wonderful choice for you.
West Chester
Mas Mexicali
It is difficult to articulate the perfection of a warm Summer night on the rooftop of Mas Mexicali with a Margarita in your hand. In the heart of West Chester, Mas offers a spectacular view of the borough, great food and a margarita menu you can’t beat anywhere. The Mas rooftop dining room is one of the most unique options for outdoor dining in Chester County.
Teca Restaurant
If wine is your thing, you must include Teca on your must-try list of outdoor dining in Chester County. With a wine list you’ve got to see to believe, Teca offers streetside dining- a staple of West Chester life. You’ll love the food but stay for the ambiance.
Four Dogs Tavern
While there are many dog friendly options for outdoor dining in West Chester borough, if you are looking for an option outside of town, Four Dogs is a great choice. Their outdoor dining room is spacious and the ambiance is comfortable and welcoming. Plus, you get to bring your pup- What better way to spend a warm evening!
Exton
Brickside Grille
Brick fired pizza and fresh air…. sign me up! The food here is unique and tasty and the pup-friendly outdoor dining room is large enough to accomodate a large group but still intimate for a more casual outing.
Nudy’s Cafe
With 10 locations across Chester County , Nudy’s Cafe is probably already a part of your favorite’s list. Best known for their breakfast all day menu, the Eagleview location in Exton has a small but comfortable outdoor dining room. Pancakes and Bacon.. what a unique option for outdoor dining in Chester County!
Chester Springs
Limoncello Chester Springs
Now with two locations (West Chester and Chester Springs), Limoncello quickly rose to popularity among Chester County foodies. The Chester Springs location offers a large outdoor dining room with a beautiful view of Milky Way Farms. It is certainly a unique place to enjoy a drink or a meal.
Liberty Union Bar & Grill
How can you not love a place with All You Can Eat Crab Legs on the menu every week!? Best known for their great beer selection and social environment, Liberty Union is a Chester Springs favorite. Their outdoor dining section is comfortable and quiet- just perfect for relaxing!
Kimberton
Kimberton Inn
Perhaps best known for their 3-course brunch menu, Kimberton Inn takes a comfortable approach to standard American fare. Be sure you check out their “probably the best salad you’ve ever had” sales! With tons of personality and one-of-a-kind menu options, Kimberton Inn is sure to please.
Station Bistro
Station Bistro is a local favorite for those seeking Organic offerings. Boasting 90% organic menu choices, Station Bistro offers a unique setting in an old farmhouse with eclectic decor. And they’ve got great grits… a southern delicacy so often fumbled by us northerners!
