This weekend I’ll be lacing up my running shoes for Philadelphia’s Broad Street Run. It’s a 10-mile race that cuts through Center City. I’ll be running alongside 35,000 people to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Broad Street was first run in 1980 with just over 1,500 finishers. Currently, the Broad Street Run is the largest 10-miler in Pennsylvania and eighth largest in the country with over 35,000 participants.
